END OF THE DAY DISMISSAL

Due to concerns regarding safety, we are asking all parents to enter the building through the West door. Students will not be allowed to exit through the south door or play on the playground unless accompanied by a parent. Students will be asked to remain in the area by the west door until their car arrives. Thank you in advance for your help.

PTL WALL

Check out the new PTL wall located in the school's main entrance above the collection receptables. There are three new boards that will tell you everything you need to now about PTL and more. You will find a list of PTL collections, the Progress Chart that shows our collections versus our goals for the year, the list of all of hte PTL meetings and what the PTL events are, any updated PTL news, and a suggestion box for you to drop off any suggestions you have for the PTL. We welcome you to submit any changes or additions you would like to see with the PTL or PTL events. We want to know what you want and what you think! Finally, you will see the newly created PTL brochure and a showcase of the WHO of the PTL. Stop by so you can put a name with a face to all board members, including room representatives who are featured with their picture, name, and position.

Please submit your applications in for the free/reduced meal program as soon as possible. Anyone that qualifies should apply! Reduced lunch is 40 cents and reduced breakfast is 30 cents. Our school benefits from these applications, particularly the Title One Program that we offer here. All applications and approvals are kept confidential. If your financial status changes at all during the year, and you would qualify at that time, you can apply with us for the program. Please return your applications to Janet Berg, our accountant.

We would love to have you come and enjoy lunch with your student, BUT we need to know if you are coming 24 hours in advance! This allows our cook to include you in the meal count for the following day, and helps with her meal preparation. Please feel free to call the office at 232-7747 and we'll check with Peggy to get you on the next day's list for the lunch meal.

STUDENT FILE REQUIREMENTS

The State of North Dakota requires that each student file contain the following for Pre-School through 8th grades. These requirements should be given to the school office BEFORE classes begin in August.

Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten - current statement of health and copy of updated immunizations.

Kindergarten through 8th grades - copy of certified birth certificate from state in which student was born (not a hospital certificate) and copy of updated immunizations.
